Play fun free time games using your colored discs. Bingo is easy with the translucent circles because kids can still see the covered numbers for quick referencing. Tiddlywinks is loads of fun for a group of kids with colored discs, as well. These colorful circles make ideal counters for little number learners. Line them up in a row or make simple shapes from the colored discs for kids to count and recognize. You can have kids do a fun exercise to help tactile learners grasp the number shapes. For example, draw a number four on a paper with a thick marker. Now have your child place or glue colored discs onto the number, following the lines you have set out for him or her. This exercise also works splendidly when teaching letters and simple geometric shapes. Of course, if you are ever missing game pieces, colored discs can also come to the rescue. Fill in missing pieces with colorful discs.
